10th Triennial of Polish Graphic Art main exhibition selection. Out of Time: a meditative VR journey in UE5. Beyond pure relaxation, it is a space for intimate catharsis through light and sound. A digital sanctuary for deep existential exploration. Wishlist to support independent VR art.
Out of Time is an original meditation and art-therapeutic platform. It is designed to immerse the user in a state of “flow”, where the boundaries between time and space blur. This is not a space for sleep preparation ー it is a place for intense katharsis, emotional purification, and confrontation with one’s own process of discovery.
In a world dominated by superficial stimulation, this project offers a safe haven for the mind, based on the foundations of aesthetics and primal art therapy. Inspired by the 17th-century philosophy of Robert Fludd, this installation offers an exploration of the emerging realm of Entity: from dense, dark matter (hyle), through the abyss (abyssus) and chaos, to the ethereal function of fog (caligo).

Absolute Freedom: Here, time does not exist. The experience is unlimited ー You can stay for 15 minutes or several hours, depending on your needs. No goals are imposed. Your task is to simply BE and allow the free flow of thoughts.
A wordless narrative built through light, geometry, and your own movement – accessible to anyone, regardless of language.
Using motion controllers, you navigate through invisible sound paths. Follow your ears. Invisible sound tunnels are placed throughout the environment to guide you through the experience.
An environment designed to facilitate cognitive development and entering a state of "flow", conducive to stress reduction.
Rooted in deep research into new media art, Out of Time originated as a core diploma at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. Following its premiere at prestigious exhibitions, including the 10th Triennial of Polish Graphic Art, the project has been fully reimagined in Unreal Engine 5.
This evolution from the original concept to the current high-fidelity vision enables a profound multisensory experience—a space where historical philosophical inquiry meets the frontier of cutting-edge VR technology.
Personal experience as a natural extension of the body, an uninterrupted meditative process.
