This expansion DLC for the real-time hacking TPS game involves scanning the vulnerabilities of quantum demons attacking humans in a devastated world, rewriting their behavioral programs, and fighting them.
Following the positive reception Hackers in Battlefield received upon its 2022 release,
we've decided to release new DLC content.
While the graphics are last-gen due to our custom C++ engine using DirectX,
it's a TPS prioritizing systems like Minecraft,
with core gameplay based on Linux OS.
Playing this game will make you a Linux-savvy hacker,
making you popular with girls—and if girls become hackers too,
life becomes effortless and population issues vanish. But anyway...
The new wind effects feature explosions creating whirlwinds,
which I doubt even recent AAA titles have done,
so we'll keep focusing on such natural phenomena.
Newly added elements include:
・Enhanced wind effects
・Expanded town map size from 20×20 to 40×40
・Changed giant robot abilities
・Ability to change the protagonist's clothing color
・Expanded hacking battles against elite quantum demons
・Character Live2D implementation
and more.
The core game system involves port scanning enemies,
identifying vulnerabilities within their equipped services,
and accessing those vulnerable port numbers
to rewrite the enemy's behavior script.
This was created by studying actual cyberattack techniques
and was recognized by active security engineers.
On the Mokuseisha blog I update,
I post daily development progress,
sharing the creation process as entertainment—
in a sense, an OSS-like activity.
5% of profits from game sales will be donated to war orphans.
Thank you for reading to the end.
